![]() Card of the Week The card hated by all except for the ones who are using it. Probably the best magic card in the early first edition deck, used to keep the stronger monsters off the field, and have the weaker ones decide the battle. It is used very frequently in battles of all skill levels, usually by leaving a weak monster defenseless againist a stronger monster, then revealing it to make the weak monster alone, and able to attack directly. It's one of the few resserection cards that is not a exact remake. It changed names to Joy Virus and is no longer permanent. |
Astonishing Raf victory over Dan In an epic 45 minute long battle between veteran Dan and first time player Rafael, it was down to the wire. Raf eventually would win, but it didn't seem so in the first 15 minutes. On the first move, Raf lost his 3600 White Wizard to Dan's Pen Writer and started off with low life points. Dan got him down to under 500 very quickly, before he was even under 1000. It started to go downhill for Dan once Raf could take advantage of his Dark Mage, ressurects and other 3000+ monsters. He continaully lost monsters, and kept his life points up by some helpful cards. It was an extremely tight fought battle, until Dan's deck ran dry. Dan had 600 life points and Raf was at 250. Dan had no choice but to lose his last cards in his hand, and get dealed direct damage for 6 straight turns until his lose. The last time a Private ranked player beat Dan was back in '02, when another first-time player, Karl H. took him down from all his Yugi-Oh knowledge. |
